Do you provide International delivery?

 

Right now we are handeling only indian operation and in future may be we will handle the international order and shipments.

 

 

How do I return an item?

 

Unsuitable Goods: We want you to be happy with your order, however we know that from time to time items do need to be returned. Please see below for our returns policies and how to return unwanted items.

If you believe that any of our products are of unsatisfactory quality, please contact Customer Services.

 

Accessories: If you wish to return an item for a refund, it needs to be returned to our warehouse within 7 days from the date you received it. Products cannot be returned to us after 14 days unless they are faulty.

Unwanted items will be returned to us at your own cost (with the exception of faulty or damaged goods).

How To Return Accessories: Complete the Returns Note that is enclosed with your order.
As the goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, please ensure you wrap the parcel securely, preferably in the original packaging, enclosing the Returns Note. We are unable to process a refund without the completed Returns Note.

Attach the address label that is enclosed with your documents.

 

*Please note this is NOT a Freepost label, the cost of returning the item is your responsibility.

Returning By Post: Please obtain a validated proof of posting from the Post Office, which you should retain until you receive your refund, as we cannot be held responsible for items that fail to reach us.

Returning Defective Or Damaged Items: Please contact our Customer Services team if you have a faulty item. You will need to follow the procedures above to return the item. Once we have examined the goods and confirmed they are faulty, we will refund the cost of the product, the delivery charge (if the returned items constituted the entire order) and the return postage.

Should you require a replacement item, then we will send this out at no extra charge and refund you for the cost you incurred returning the faulty item. The cost and method of you returning the item should be agreed with us in advance.

 

Refunds For Accessories: All items must be returned unused and in perfect condition, with a completed Returns Note, before we can process your refund. Once the product is back with us and has been checked, we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case within 28 days.

Furnitureshop.in retains the right to refuse a refund on any item not deemed to be re-saleable. We will refund the price of the product in full, including the cost of delivery of the product, where the entire order has been returned.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the product to us.

Refunds will only be given through the original payment method.

Our Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty or damaged goods.

 

How To Return Furniture: You must notify us by email or telephone of your intention to return the products within 7 days of receiving your order. We will then contact you to arrange collection of your furniture. It may take up to 28 days for collection (possibly longer for more remote areas).

Products cannot be returned to us because they are unsuitable after seven days.

Please complete the Returns Note that is enclosed with your order.

We ask that you return products to us unused, in perfect condition and with their original packaging. Please ensure that furniture is packed carefully, and the completed Returns Note is enclosed.

Furniture items that are simply unsuitable or don’t fit can be taken away at the point of delivery, but the collection charge will still apply.

For hygiene reasons mattresses cannot be returned once packaging has been opened unless confirmed defective.

 

Returning Defective Or Damaged Furniture: On delivery please ensure you check the products carefully for any faults or defects. Should your furniture arrive damaged or faulty please call us while the delivery team are with you so that we can organise a replacement, a repair or a refund.

We reserve the right to repair an item rather than replacing it. We will not accept liability for visible damage not reported within seven days of delivery. Should you request a refund on faulty or damaged products we will refund in full once the goods have been returned and checked in our warehouse. If the defective products constitute the entire order the original delivery charge will be reimbursed.

As there are natural variances in wood and our furniture is finished and painted by hand, each item may be slightly different in measurements, appearance, colour and finish. We will not exchange items purely on the ground of the character or colour of the wood or the paint finish.

 

Furniture Repairs: If items are found to be defective we will, where deemed reasonable, attempt to restore the product or offer a replacement as soon as reasonably possible.

We work with a specialist furniture repair company who will endeavour to complete a home visit within 14 days of being notified of an issue. If the issue is confirmed as a product fault we will instruct them to repair it, or, if that is uneconomical we will replace your item.

Please do not attempt to repair a damaged item yourself.

 

Made To Order Items And Non-Standard Paint Finishes: Please note we cannot refund any "Made to Order" items or any items with a non-standard paint finish, unless they are faulty. These are clearly highlighted on our website.

Clearance Items: We will not be able to give refunds due to unsuitability on clearance items. These items have been greatly reduced as they are old stock or slightly marked or damaged.

Return To Store Or Warehouse: You can return your furniture to our Bhiwandi warehouse in Thane. Due to space restrictions, large items or orders with multiple items can only be returned to our warehouse and not to our stores. Please call our Customer Services team to arrange this.

Delivery

Minimum Delivery Time: 2-3 days depend on PIN Code

Maximum Delivery Time: 12-18 days depend on PIN Code

Accessories: All our home accessories are in stock, and will be despatched to you within 2-5 working days. Remote areas may take longer. If you place a combined order for accessories and furniture, the accessories will be despatched separately, as per the above timescales.

 

Furniture: Due to the large range of furniture we offer, which in many cases is made to order in your bespoke choice of size, colour and finish, it is not possible for us to hold stock. The majority of our furniture is delivered to us from different factories in India and Abroad, which is why we are unable to give a firm delivery date at the time you place your order. We should be able to give you a more accurate delivery estimate within a week or two of you placing your order.

Delivery times vary from product to product and an estimated delivery timescale is clearly shown against each product. This can vary between 4 -8 weeks. We have years of experience working with our suppliers and will be in regular contact with them regarding your order. Your satisfaction is most important to us and we have a dedicated customer services team who will keep you informed.

Once your furniture has been delivered into our warehouse, and it has passed our quality control checks, we aim to deliver to you within 5-15 days. Remote areas may take longer, and may be limited to one day a week. Our dedicated delivery team will contact you about delivery times and options.

For orders with more than one item, we will make one delivery to you when all your items have been received into our warehouse. Therefore the product with the longest time to completion will determine your estimated delivery week. Part-shipments can also be arranged but there will be a charge for each delivery.

Delivery Delays: Delivery dates are not guaranteed but we will do our utmost to ensure goods are delivered within the stated timescale or soon afterwards. In the unfortunate event that there is an unexpected delay with your order, we will keep you informed. We cannot accept claims for compensation resulting from overdue orders outside of our control. Delivery Costs: These costs are for deliveries to most India addresses (see exceptions below).

Accessories Orders (With No Furniture) INR 1000
There is one charge, regardless of the number of items you order.

 

Accessories & Furniture Combined Orders: When you place an order for both accessories and furniture, you will be charged just one delivery charge, based on the furniture costs outlined below. The accessories will be despatched within 2-5 working days.

Organising Your Delivery: We are able to deliver Monday-Saturday 8.00am-6.00pm.

Weekend and evening deliveries may be possible, although not guaranteed.

Once your order is ready our delivery team will contact you to discuss a delivery date.

A few days before your delivery day we will contact you to give you an approximate delivery time. Our drivers will also call ahead on the day of delivery to give you an estimated time of arrival.
Our drivers will endeavour to arrive within the stated times although we have no control over traffic hold ups or unexpected delays. If they are delayed they will call to let you know.

Please inform us in advance if there are any delivery restrictions or special instructions.

Cancellation Of Delivery: If you need to change or cancel the agreed delivery day, please contact us by 11am the day before your delivery is due, and we will rearrange your delivery at no extra charge.

Any changes to your delivery after this time will incur a second delivery charge at the same rate as the original delivery cost.

 

Customer Collection: If you prefer, you can collect your order at no charge from our Bhiwandi warehouse, Thane. Simply select your local store at Checkout and we will call you when your order is ready to collect.

When collecting larger items please ensure you bring someone along to help load your vehicle. While we are happy to help, we cannot guarantee we’ll have someone suitable available at the time.

If you choose to collect your furniture, you or your courier are responsible for the product once the collection note has been signed. When collecting your goods you will need to show proof of purchase and the card you paid with. If you are getting a third party to collect on your behalf, you will need to inform us in advance, and they will need to show some photo identification.

Please note that large items or orders with multiple items, can only be collected from our warehouse in Kent and we reserve the right to advise you which items are not suitable for customer collection due to size or weight.

 

Our Delivery Team: Your furniture will be delivered to you by our carefully selected specialist furniture delivery company. They will take great care to ensure your goods are delivered to you in perfect condition. We use two man crews for all deliveries so you won’t need to lift anything.

Our drivers will survey delivery access and take all possible precautions to ensure damage free delivery. Please assist us by ensuring access routes and the position where you require the furniture to be placed are cleared in advance of delivery.

To comply with Health and Safety regulations our drivers cannot remove, reposition or dispose of other items of furniture for you. They also cannot remove their shoes. Therefore please provide adequate protection for your carpets or floors if necessary.

Furnitureshop.in cannot be held responsible for damage to floors or carpets if they are insufficiently protected.

Ensure Your Furniture Will Fit: The majority of our furniture is fully assembled. It is your responsibility to make sure that the furniture will fit in the chosen room and will fit through any access doors and stairways.

Our drivers will do all they can to get your furniture in position. If they believe that it is not possible and that it won't fit, or that they will cause damage to your property or your furniture, then it can be taken away at the point of delivery but a collection charge will apply. (See our Returns policy for charges.)

If you still wish the delivery team to attempt to place the furniture in the room of your choice and they agree to try, then any damage to your property or your furniture is entirely at you own risk.

Alternatively, if you request, we can leave your furniture in a convenient alternative location. Any damage to the goods or your property is then entirely at your own risk.

Please note that products marked as Made to Order on the website are non-refundable, therefore you should be certain that they will fit, as in most cases these are the larger pieces of furniture.

Please tell us in advance if your room is difficult to access.

Our drivers are not able to remove doors and windows to effect access. If doors, windows or stair banisters need to be removed in order for the furniture to fit, you will need to arrange this before the day of delivery.

If we were not informed of any access issues then Furnitureshop.in reserves the right to have to reschedule the delivery and apply a second delivery charge.

 

Unsuccessful Delivery: If we are unable to deliver your furniture because you are not in at the agreed time, re-delivery will be charged at the original delivery cost. Re-delivery will be made within 5-15 days.

Signing For Your Furniture: You will be asked to carefully check all items at the time of delivery for damage or defects before signing the Delivery Note. In signing the Delivery Note, you are acknowledging that the items delivered are in good condition and in no way faulty or damaged.

In the unlikely event of your furniture arriving damaged or faulty, please call us while the delivery team are with you, so that we can organise a replacement, a repair or a refund.

For Clearance items sold as “imperfect” a disclaimer must be signed to acknowledge that the item has been sold with said damage.

Goods cannot be left unchecked. If you do not check them at point of delivery then furnitureshop.in cannot accept any damage issues after the delivery.

 

Payment

 

Payment Methods
Card Payments : We accept the following credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and Visa Electron. We do not currently accept American Express. 

Payment is taken in full once you have confirmed your order and completed the checkout process.

All credit and debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.

Gift Vouchers : You can pay using Furnitureshop.in gift vouchers that have been purchased on-line. If your order value is greater than the amount on the gift voucher, you can use a debit or credit card to pay the balance. If you do not spend the full value of the voucher, the remaining credit will be stored against that specific voucher code and can be used against your next purchase.

When you shop with us, our secure server encrypts all of your personal information, including name, address and credit card information. We use Razorpay/PayU India which are an industry leader in secure internet transactions and are used by thousands of other India businesses for transaction security.

To give you even more confidence when shopping on-line, we use Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode. These services enhance your existing card account against unauthorised use.

Industry Leading Transaction Security: All transaction information passed between our website and the PaisaPay Payment System is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted so you can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing passed to SagePay can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Once on the furnitureshop.in system, all sensitive data is secured using internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems making them all but impossible to extract. The data they hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Employee Access: No individuals within our company or our payment service provider are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Their systems only allow access to their most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Your card information is secure even from their own employees because the systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.

Return, Cancellation & Warranty Policies:

Cancelling an Order or Part of an Order Time Frame

 

If you change your mind after placing an order, you can cancel the order (or part of the order) within 07 (Seven) days of the order confirmation, or before it is shipped, whichever is earlier.

Fee

 

A cancellation fee of 2.5% will be applied on the amount paid by you while processing the refund. Any cashback earned on the order prior to the cancellation will be deducted from FurnitureShop credits. If the same cashback has been used completely or partially to place another order, the cashback amount will be deducted from the refund amount of the cancelled product.

How to Initiate a Cancellation Request?

 

 

1.Go to the My Orders section in your ‘My Account’

2.Click the ‘Cancel Item’ button against the Item you want to cancel.

3.If you checked out as a Guest User (i.e. you have not registered on furnitureshop.in), please get in touch with our Customer Service team to initiate a cancellation.

4.Please go through our Refund Policy to understand the refund process and timelines.

Refund Process

Mode Of Refund Payment

 

 

1. Once the item is cancelled, the refund is processed after the product has been picked up from the delivery location.

You can choose to get your refund either in the original mode of payment (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, Digital Wallets or UPI Account).

If you have availed EMI option - incase of full refund the amount is credited to your original mode of payment. However, incase of partial refunds, the refund is initiated through NEFT transaction to your bank account so that the remaining EMI is not lapsed*.

 

2. There can be variations depending on the T&Cs of the financial service provider and time at which return is sought.

 

Refund Timelines

 

The fastest way to get refunds is into your Furnitureshop Wallet. You can use 100% of refund credits in your Furnitureshop Wallet for your next purchase. The Furnitureshop Refund credits are valid for 3 years and are non-transferrable.
